Built in 1857 from local sandstone, this is the oldest lighthouse in Queensland. Perched 100 metres above sea level on the cliffs of Cape Moreton, the light has been fully automated since 1993 and continues to play a vital navigational role for shipping and local boating.
Keiran Lusk worked as a park ranger on Moreton Island and lived at the Cape Moreton lighthouse with his family for five incredible years (2011-16).
