Enjoy our unique and popular day tour from Hobart to see some of the surrounding area’s stunning native plants and botanical gardens and visit the wildlife warriors and their residents at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.
In the morning you will visit two private landscaped gardens filled with Tasmanian Native plants, set in idyllic surroundings, including an assortment of local birds in their natural habitat.
After a light lunch, the tour will drop in to visit the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary for native wildlife experience. The team at Bonorong are a big part of a network in Tasmania that saves, and releases injured Tasmanian native wildlife. Most of the wildlife here have been rescued from traumatic situations and in supporting this worthwhile enterprise, you are supporting the ongoing upkeep of the newly established animal hospital on the site.
The final stop will be the Royal Tasmanian Gardens, which covers 14 hectares on the Queens Domain in Hobart overlooking the Derwent River.
