You will be transported to the hike launch point (avoiding a grueling 800m uphill hike). Your self-guided hike will traverse the lesser known hero of Warburton Trails, “O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail”. This amazing trail is cut into the mountain above Warburton.
Whilst folks on the “rail trail” will be keeping an eye out for skinny lattes… you’ll be looking for wildlife in this protected natural wonderland. Hike through the towering forest abuzz with flora and fauna, great views and babbling water courses.
Upon reaching the Dee Road Picnic Ground you can enjoy the stunning valley views and will be picked up there and driven the 7km back to Warburton Basecamp.
